Well, well, well, where have I been, you say? It seems I decided to take the summer off. And there's really no excuse for that! I have been catching up with a few films and am very excited about the films coming out this fall. It's always the good ones that get released before the end of the year, in hopes to snap those Oscar nominations. Let me just start off by saying that I finally saw the much-anticipated, "Eat, Pray, Love".
I devoured the book a couple of years ago and knew it was just a matter of time before I knew that they would make a film out of this wonderful memoir. Oh Elizabeth Gilbert, you amaze us with your words.
I don't need to say much more except that Julia Roberts, Richard Jenkins, Javier Bardem and a newcomer Swede, Tuva Novotny. Please, if for no other reason, watch this film because of the food in Italy. It looks so delectable that you will crave pasta after watching. Food Stylist Susan Spungen makes it look so easy. Find out a little more about her and her movie food secrets.
I am off to read Ms. Gilbert's follow-up, "Committed". I hope there's a sequel film to be made.

Can't Wait: Eat, Pray, Love
I absolutely LOVED the book, written by Elizabeth Gilbert. With such an incredible story to tell based on true life events, it's no wonder that Hollywood snatched it up to make it into a film.
"Eat, Pray, Love" is directed by Ryan Murphy who has written and directed several episodes of "Nip/Tuck" and "Glee", and he also directed the Augusten Burroughs memoir, "Running with Scissors".
"Eat, Pray, Love" has an amazing cast starring none other than, Julia Roberts, with James Franco as a love interest, as well as the hunky Javier Bardem. Billy Crudup once again, plays the bad guy, while Richard Jenkens plays the good guy. However, I feel that I've already told you too much about the storyline...! You will have to wait and see for yourself. Unfortunately we have to wait until August 13th. Bummer!
In the meantime, check out the trailer:

Valentine's Day!
It's embarrassing how long it's been since I've written in here. But, I'm back! I just saw the amazingly adorable "Valentine's Day" on, ta-dah....Valentine's Day. It was well cast but what else would you expect from Director Garry Marshall, or shall we call him Dr. Feelgood. He's responsible for romantic comedies such as "Pretty Woman" and "The Princess Diaries". There were so many cute moments and even a shocker (gasp!) moment towards the end. But almost the best part is when you watch the credits. Be on the lookout for a killer comment by Julia Roberts.
Hope everyone had a happy heart day!
